Chase Walton is a physician-scientist in training who has spent more than a decade building medical technology, launching seven clinical software platforms and more than 100 software products. He is a Clinical AI Research Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. He is also an AI Researcher and Systems Engineer at ARISE (AI Research and Science Evaluation), a Stanford–Harvard network of clinicians and researchers that runs multicenter studies of how well clinical AI performs, where he benchmarks healthcare AI applications. His research bridges clinical AI and basic science, with peer-reviewed work in Nature Medicine, EMBO, Cancer Research, and the Journal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer. Chase has completed the Ph.D. phase of the M.D./Ph.D. program at the Medical University of South Carolina and will earn his M.D. in 2027. He also holds an M.S. in physiology and developmental biology and an M.B.A. in healthcare management.

Marcus Bell is an M.D./Ph.D. candidate at the Medical University of South Carolina. His peer-reviewed publications span neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, immunology, psychiatry, and basic neuroscience. Several establish experimental models and methods that allow previously inaccessible questions in benchtop brain stimulation to be investigated and translated to the clinic. He has been awarded multiple NIH training grants and represents MUSC to the Focused Ultrasound Foundation. He is the co-founder and CEO of Bellwether Biotech, where he took a patent-pending preclinical brain stimulation platform from garage prototypes through in-house engineering and manufacturing to commercial release. He has secured research and nonprofit funding, including a Minnesota opioid grant as Principal Investigator. He writes NIH R01 and institutional grants with faculty at multiple R1 institutions. As Director of Research at Amethyst Recovery Solutions since its founding, he writes state-approved peer recovery specialist training programs that integrate with brain imaging research.
